Professional Experience

ELD Instructor: Camosun College - Victoria   2015 & 2017- present

Plan and deliver Provincial English Composition (ELD 092 and 102), Provincial English Literature (ELD 094 and 104), Technical and Professional English (ELD 097) as well as basic EAL courses to domestic and international learners in face-to-face and online (synchronous and asynchronous) learning environments. Deliver lessons on AI and digital and medial literacy.

Created GEOS’ nationwide TESOL Canada certified teacher training course and delivered this to five groups of pre and in-service teachers (L1 and L2) in Victoria and Vancouver. Designed and delivered the TEC (Teaching English to Children) course three times in Victoria and Vancouver

Facilitated PD for colleagues, tutored high school students, taught IELTS, various levels of general English, private lessons and lead day and weekend excursions
